You have lots of great ideas here and it's fun to read. Love how clean and bright it is. Typically with celery, onion, walnuts, apples (sometimes grapes) and salt/pepper and mayo. If the rainy/cooler times, boiling the chicken and making chicken 'n' dumplings, my favorite! Also, boiling the chicken and pulling it out and using the broth to make a sticky rice then add the chicken back in. Also, chicken breasts on the grill with some veggies for dinner... chicken paprikash with the legs for another meal. I'm honored to be one of your favs!

You've got a fun idea here- I love seeing how you're planning to use your box. I'm going to be looking for that Caesar Chicken pasta salad recipe- my family loves anything Caesar. :-)

Oh- and for your comment above: that's one of the reasons I always remove the skin first when I cook a chicken in the slow cooker- none of that rubbery flaccid skin to make me think "boiled."Jami @An Oregon Cottagehttp://www.anoregoncottage.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246007090424496987.post-33444262995429206452011-06-09T21:51:38.327-05:002011-06-09T21:51:38.327-05:00Oh, and it's Lisa Puma - I couldn't figure...Oh, and it's Lisa Puma - I couldn't figure out the profile thingy (you know you envy my skilz!).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246007090424496987.post-60888335207740784312011-06-09T21:50:58.735-05:002011-06-09T21:50:58.735-05:00Hey, Dee! I LOVE my slow cooker, but whenever I cook a whole chicken in it, it ends up just being a boiled chicken. Which isn't a bad thing if I want chicken & dumpling (yum) or chicken salad, but I'm looking for something more rotisserie-like. I wonder if removing the skin would help with that?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6246007090424496987.post-16582743476835108692011-06-07T11:32:33.864-05:002011-06-07T11:32:33.864-05:00tonight we are having Mama's version of goulas...tonight we are having Mama's version of goulash.....noodles and burger and maters.
